The Kettering Adventurer Club is a family-oriented ministry designed for children in Pre-K through 4th grade and their parents, focused on growing kids in faith, character, and service.
Our goal is to create a pathway to Jesus for kids and families. Through hands-on learning, nature exploration, Bible-based lessons, and family participation, the Adventurer Club helps children discover more about Jesus, the world He created, and how to live & love like Him each day. The club meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday of each month during the school year, with gatherings typically on Sabbath afternoons. Special activities include camping, service projects, and Adventurer/Pathfinder Sabbath. This ministry is important because it helps children build strong spiritual foundations while deepening family bonds and connecting with a Christ-centered community. At Kettering, we believe in walking alongside kids as they take their first steps in discipleship and Christian service.

The Adventurer Club is a church-based program for children in Pre-K (4 years old) through 4th grade that helps families grow together in Christ through fun, hands-on, and faith-building activities.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Sabbath of each month during the school year, with additional events, outings, and service opportunities scheduled throughout the year.
Yes, Adventurers have a formal (class A) uniform and a casual (class B) uniform that they wear during meetings and events. There is also a registration fee that covers supplies, awards, and event expenses. Financial assistance may be available upon request.
Yes! Adventurer Club is designed to be a family ministry. Parental involvement strengthens spiritual connection and ensures a safer, more meaningful experience for all children.
Children from Pre-K to 4th grade and at least one parent or guardian are encouraged to participate. The program is designed to engage the whole family in the discipleship journey.
Kids enjoy a variety of engaging activities including Bible learning, crafts, outdoor adventures, nature exploration, service projects, family worships, games, and earning award badges for different skills and spiritual growth.
While Sabbath School focuses on weekly Bible study and spiritual growth, Adventurers is a club-style ministry that builds on those foundations with interactive learning, practical life-skill development, and family involvement outside of regular worship times.
You can register at the beginning of the club year or reach out to the Adventurer Club leadership team through the church office or website to learn more.
