Spread Joy This Christmas: Adopt a Family with HOF

As the holiday season approaches, we want to spotlight an opportunity for our church community to bring hope and joy to families in need. Our sister ministry, Helping Our Families, Inc. (HOF) invites individuals, families, small groups, and ministries to participate in their “Adopt a Family Christmas” program — a chance to help make dreams come true this year.

What the program is all about

Through this initiative, donors “adopt” a family or child who otherwise might receive little or nothing at Christmas. HOF offers two main ways to participate:

• Shop, wrap and deliver gifts for a family, selecting items from a wish list.
• Or simply donate (suggested amount: $150) and HOF will take care of the rest.

How to get involved

1. Visit the program page of HOF and sign up to adopt a family.
2. Choose your preferred way to help – either by providing gifts or by donating the suggested amount.
3. If you shop for gifts: pick from the provided wish-list, wrap the items, and follow HOF’s delivery instructions.
4. If you donate: you can pay online (via PayPal/debit/credit card) and HOF will handle gift-procurement and delivery.

Helping Our Families, Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting single mothers and their children by providing housing, resources, and mentorship to help them achieve lasting independence and stability. Through community programs like “Adopt a Family Christmas,” the organization connects donors with families in need, spreading hope and love during the holiday season.
