Dr. Carlton Byrd is a nationally recognized evangelist, author, and leader who has baptized over 22,000 people. Former Speaker/Director of Breath of Life TV ministry and senior pastor at Oakwood University Church, he now leads the Southwest Region Conference, where he’s helped eliminate debt and drive major growth.
He is the author of Contemporary Evangelism for the 21st Century, Free: Revisiting God’s Plan for Oppressed People, and Gone: A Healing Word for a Hurting World, and regularly contributes to Message Magazine. Married for over two decades to Danielle Mounter, they have three daughters: Christyn, Caileigh, and Carissa.
