Dr. Jacquelyn Wright-Palmer is a cultural historian, genealogist, and community speaker whose work delves into African American ancestry, intergenerational trauma, and the healing potential of family reconnection. She serves on the faculty of Wright State University's “Lake Campus” and is a a highly respected persona in the geneology communtiy.
In 2020, Dr. Palmer delivered a powerful TEDxDayton talk titled “Genealogy and Family History of Enslavement” where she shared how unraveling the threads of enslaved ancestors can profoundly reshape personal identity and communal resilience.
