Samuel enjoys sharing Jesus through music and he sees it as a vitally important facet of evangelism. It naturally transcends the barriers that divide us, and reminds us that we are all the same — created in the image of God. Samuel also has a passion for collaboration and loves to bring people from all walks of life together to praise the Lord.
Samuel was born in San Diego, California as the second of three sons, although he spent most of his childhood in the between Georgia and Virginia. At the age of seven, Samuel began taking piano lessons at his parents’ encouragement. They hoped he would develop musical skills that he could one day use to serve the Lord. It didn’t take long for Samuel to discover that music was more than a skill—it was something he truly loved. That love for music eventually led him to study music composition at Southern Adventist University. Today, Samuel enjoys serving the Lord with his musical talents by leading worship at church, composing/arranging, and producing soundtracks.
Outside of ministry and music, Samuel enjoys being active outdoors, and tennis is his favorite sport. He loves cooking and is always ready to try a new recipe, particularly if it involves pasta or homemade bread! Most importantly, Samuel values relationships, cherishing time with family and friends while seeking to continually grow in his walk with the Lord.
